Promoting the "AI Smart Island" Policy Initiative: Central Police University Hosts Special Lectures on "The Development and Application of Generative AI"

Dr. Chen Ying-chieh, Director of the Information Office at the National Development Council, delivered two special lectures on "The Development and Application of Generative AI" to support the government's "AI Smart Island" initiative and embrace the age of artificial intelligence. President Yuan-ming Yang, Vice President Hui-tang Chen, and more than 130 faculty and staff attended the event, focusing on engaging the audience in generative AI development and application.
The lectures covered a wide range of topics, from the evolution of AI and an introduction to the top 50 AI tools currently available to sharing real-world application cases. Chen also touched on how AI can assist in teaching, research, administrative work, criminal investigations, and future trends in AI-enabled crime.
