Central Police University Joint Graduation Ceremony 2022

Due to COVID-19, the central Police University held a hybrid graduation ceremony on Friday, June 10, 2022. Interior Minister Hsu Kuo-Yung has developed a special movie to honor and wish graduates. He urged graduates to consider "police" not just as a career, but as a lifelong aim of creating a safe and happy community.

430 Ph.D., master's, and undergraduate students graduated this year, including international students from Paraguay, Honduras, Thailand, and Indonesia, among other places. President Chen accepted the certification on behalf of (Héctor David Alfonso Ramos of Paraguay, Watcharin Wiriyapatthanaphan of Thailand, and Omri Martahan of Indonesia.

Due to COVID-19, the CPU has not hosted an in-person graduation ceremony over the past two years, and this year has been a hybrid with a lot of effort. President Chen urged graduates to face the challenge with bravely and to begin their careers cheaply.

Minister Hsu remarked that the Central Police University, which is well regarded by the public, is the talent cultivation center of police executives. Hereinafter, graduation represents the beginning of a new chapter in one's life. He advised all graduates to regard the "police" as a lifelong mission and to use their power to contribute to society's safety. "Where the threat is, the police respond, " he stated. He also highlighted that the pandemic was tough for the police and firefighters and health care professionals during the past two years.
