The Central Police University Library has launched a new e-book system to improve access to reading materials for faculty and students, foster innovative police research, and support high-quality teaching. The library is continually expanding its e-book collection, which now includes publications from prestigious institutions like Oxford and Cambridge. By providing online access to these resources, the library enables faculty and students to tap into cutting-edge research from anywhere, eliminating the need to physically visit the library. This digital initiative is designed to elevate the university's academic standards and drive research excellence.

The library is committed to creating a vibrant virtual reading environment that complements the unique needs of Central Police University students, who reside on campus and engage in intensive leadership training. As a result, the library has become a hub for both academic pursuits and relaxation. To provide a rich and diverse learning experience, the library has crafted distinct zones that cater to various needs. The 'Leisure Reading Zone' invites readers to unwind, while the 'Research and Retrieval Zone' provides a focused environment for in-depth study. The 'Dr. Henry C. Lee Donated Book Collection' offers a treasure trove of specialized knowledge. Most recently, the 'Idea Exchange: Reading & Discussion Zone' was established, designed and built by students themselves. Each zone is thoughtfully equipped with dedicated facilities, ensuring that faculty and students have the ideal spaces for learning, inquiry, discussion, and relaxation.

The Central Police University Library is a vital resource hub, boasting an extensive collection of police science materials and a robust suite of research-oriented electronic databases that stay abreast of the latest technological developments. As the university looks to the future, the library is poised to play a pivotal role in supporting its mission to excel in key areas such as police administration, corrections, immigration, crime prevention, maritime security, and national security. By doing so, the library aims to help the university solidify its position as Taiwan's premier institution for training the next generation of law enforcement professionals and leaders.
