2022 CPU Faculty Got Out-of-pocket Influenza Vaccine
Autumn and winter are the active seasons for influenza virus, moreover, COVID-19 virus still outrages all around the world. To keep students and faculties of Central Police University (CPU) healthy, CPU not only checks their body temperature and health conditions every day, but also disseminates pandemic prevention measures, such as, keeping social distance, wearing masks, and washing hands frequently etc. At the same time, CPU implements the rule of “no work and no class when getting sick,” letting faculties and students rest when they’re sick.
To effectively prevent influenza from spreading, and lower the rate of severe illness, CPU held an event of out-of-pocket influenza vaccination for faculties in school. Through the vaccination, defenses of school infectious disease were built up, and the academic researches as well as educational trainings wouldn’t be interrupted.
Chang-Geng Medical Foundation Linkou Chang-Geng Memorial Hospital (Linkou Chang-Geng Hospital) generously provided influenza vaccination service inside campus. There were 60 faculties getting flu vaccination in CPU Infirmary on November 21, 2022. The vaccination event went smoothly and successfully. CPU continues to promote school pandemic prevention measures in the future.
CPU encouraged faculties to get influenza vaccination to increase the defense of flu virus. CPU also appreciated Linkou Chang-Geng Hospital sent doctors and nurses to the school for professional medical assistance, which made CPU faculties convenient to get flu vaccination. After the vaccination, the risk of school infectious disease would be lower and able to maintain the operation of educational trainings and administration tasks regularly.
