In order to welcome master program of the class of 104, freshmen of four-year program and two-year program passing the freshman training to join the CPU family, a welcoming party of "heritage night" was hosted at 7 pm on September 22nd , 2015.

Heritage means passing on concepts and ideas, which carries on the spirit of seniors who make efforts to contribute and the expression of gratefulness, relationship and faith. The theme of heritage night this year was “Macho man - heroes with dreams”. The main character Chun symbolized a graduate just out of the high school with a rude characteristic. By chance, Chun learned the wisdom of self-control and carefulness and the skill of law enforcement from Yep Mun. Meanwhile he discovered his own endurable and tough macho spirit.

The activity was composed of different forms of performance including battle skills, dancing, magic and flag performances as to show the school spirit, to understand the process of learning, to present the special connotation and extraordinary tradition of CPU. and to strengthen freshmen’s faith of attending CPU. The party showed the hard work and effort the seniors had done and also their excellent aspect with multiple talents. The Heritage Party is totally fabulous under the assistance of 39th Club and the instruction from the Department of Student Affairs.

At last, the President encouraged every freshman that “Studying in CPU is the identification to the future work of public security. Students not only have to pay effort to acquire knowledge and skills but also have to own a healthy, strong body and mind in order to be a total man of CPU. And that is definitely the foundation to become a qualified police cadre in the future.” After that, the President led the sergeants of the freshman training and freshman representatives to light up the fire of heritage and the party was ended in such a touching and warm atmosphere.
