In accordance with the legislative "Personal Information Protection Act," "Information Security Management Directions for the Executive Yuan and its Subordinate Agencies," "The Norms of Information and Communication Security Management in Educational Systems" and other national laws announced by the government, CPU proposed "Information Security Management System (ISMS) document" project to the Information Security Committee and obtained ISO 27001:2005 certification on Oct. 26th, 2011. The validity of this certification is for three years and has to be reviewed yearly. After the second-stage ISMS external review on October 17th and 25th, CPU has been successfully fulfilled all ISO 27001:2013 requirements.

AFNOR Group sent their representatives to our school to honor the certification of ISO 27001:2013. In the future, CPU will continue to promote information security and personal information protection in order to establish a safe and reliable educational, research and administrational environment.
