CPU invited Chairman Lee of the Encore Films Pte. Ltd to present a lecture about “honesty and truth”.

Through the plots in movies of “Life of Pi” and the “The Godfather” series, Chairman Lee said that honesty is better than truth. He explained that one must set his/her goal and work for it. He also encouraged CPU faculty and students to solve problems from various aspects. From Cross-Strait Service Trade Agreement to Anti-nuclear movement issues, one must considers standpoints of the government and the public; this is certainly a great public education example.

Lee mentioned, “You have to view the world with your heart.” Lots of things are worth to be memorized, especially the honesty between people. Many people can never understand their own world because they have never wanted to see through other people’s life.

Lee’s impressive speech was full of wisdom and inspired CPU faculty and students.
