Shao-Yun Music Awards Competition has been held for 32 years since 1983. It serves the mission of promoting leisure life, inspiring the creation of students, cultivating and enriching art appreciation. The performances of these participants have always been impressive, and also brought vigorous energy and optimism into the campus.

This year’s Shao-Yun Music Awards Competition was held on March 27. Yi-Jhen Liang, Sheng-En Lai and Yi-Ding Chang were invited as judges, the two singers from “Million Star Gang” also had performed several songs after the competition.

It was very competitive this year. After going through the primaries in each brigade, there were 26 singing teams, 11 creation teams, 4 group-dancing teams, total of 41 teams participated. Singing teams had preliminary contest on March 18, 8 went to the finals. Creation teams had finals on March 19, the first three gave a performance on March 27; Group-dancing teams had finals on 27 March. All participants did their best. All the faculties and students enjoyed their performance. It was a really wonderful feast for music.
