Newbie return to school in the 100th year of R. O. C.

Interior Minister Jiang Yi-Huah had been invited to host the opening ceremony of the "Newbie return to school in the 100th year of R. O. C." . The speech was given to the 245 yearly experienced 75-1 student brigade student officers at CPU. This annual two-day activity was proposed by Minister Jiang last year to promote the service quality and police discipline by assembling newbie at school again as the meaning of reminding the spirit of the CPU's motto "honest" and the core value "country, justice, honor". With the theory practice implementation, Minister Jiang is look forward to the modification for the exiting education content design.
Due to the momentous impact of the police discipline on social orders, Minister Jiang made a special request on CPU and TPC to reassess and provide fundamental plan for stabilizing police value and belief. Minister Jiang wishes that the school return activity can make the newbie recall their passion and original intention as being a police officer. After the conversation between NPA and CPU, the returning activity was formally held last year and continued this year as the second time.
According to Minister Jiang's speech, he pointed out police officers should hold four beliefs---"honesty, profession, efficiency, social service". Minister Jiang indicated that since President Ma took up his post, the most important thing is getting rid of the corruptive impression of the government and build an honest and incorrupt image. As the first defense line of the country, police officers' main task is being incorrupt and honest when faced with illegal seductions.
Police officers should use their professionalism to combat crimes and protect people's safety when handling public order events. In the past, there were cases that suspects harmed the policemen who made a successful getaway. NPA has had an overall review of these cases and work out a series of standard operation procedures to avoid the same mistake. In "efficiency" and "social service", the Minister hoped that police officers can see people's needs as the most important jobs and provide the best service with full heart.
Lastly, Minister Jiang wishes the returned newbie can continue their believing and avoid the corruption and bribery because we can not let the people in our country down. Minister Jiang mentioned, as long as the officers can keep all their believing in mind, the activity is worth continuing in the future.
