Douglas Singh, the Belize National Security Minister have been invited by the government of Taiwan to visit CPU on July 13th as one of his routes to better known the education system of police officers in Taiwan. Mr. Singh has been appointed to the post of Chairman of the governing party of Belize from May 1999 to August 2010 and he has been in charge of the Ministry of Police and Public Safety department since June 2010 till now. He has been commomly recognized and applauded by the general public.

Central Police University is the highest and only police officers educational institution in Taiwan. Presently, there are many foreign students who came from several different of countries, for examples, The Republic of Indonesia, The Kingdom of Thailand, The Republic of Panama, The French Republic, The Republic of Singapore, The Republic of Gambia and The Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe. The Minister has expressed that if possible, he would be delightful to establish cooperation with CPU and recommend Belize students to study aboard.
