The 100th year of R.O.C. Central Police University Commencement Ceremony was being held on June 10, 2011 to collectively celebrate and honor all 587 graduates in the class of 2011. The 2010-2011 academic year graduate students, a total of 5 Ph.D. degrees, 77 masters' degrees, 298 four-year undergraduate degrees and 207 two-year undergraduate degrees were honored. This year the Commencement speaker was Ma Ying-jeou, the President of Republic of China. There were total of two overseas Master graduates who originally from Indonesia and Thailand. Therefore, the representative of Indonesia Economic and Trade Office to Taipei and the director of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand specially attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began at 11am and President Ma has specially made a speech that the job being police is not easy; it is even called "No Thanks Job" in some foreign countries. There were a lot of people out there do not appreciate the work police force puts in to protect them. People have high expectation among the police; police got blame and criticize pretty often. Although the job is tough, the graduates should not be fear. President Ma also indicated to the graduates that today's complex social environment was filled with various temptations. They should always keep in mind that it is important to avoid any necessary aspects of seductions.

The celebration of National Police Day, June 15th, which came a few days after the ceremony; President Ma also made a short but warm greeting speech to all police and their family members. After the speech, the graduates and attendants took the opportunity to take pictures with President Ma. They felt that it is their pleasure, joy and honor to see President Ma in person. The graduation ceremony has successfully completed and ended with great applause.
