Visits by the Ministry of Interior

On November 4th, the officials of the Ministry of Interior, accompanied by President Hou, visited the campus of CPU, including school facilities, such as the Gymnasium, Judo Court, Shooting Range and the sports field. When they joined some of these classes, students gave them a warm welcome by showing their best skills in class.
During the inspection process, the officials were especially interested in our "Computer Scenario Simulation Shooting Range", which was built in 2009. It is divided into two parts: "basic shooting" and "scenario shooting". The later is set and designed in various possible themes which a police officer may encounter. Each user needs to interact and talk with the target in the scene and have a correct judgment when shooting in a limited time. This system has greatly benefited students' training and learning. Officials from the Ministry of Interior were all deeply impressed and gave it a high commend.
