In times of the severe COVID-19 pandemic, Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation (Tzu Chi) had supported police education with actual action by donating 2000 Panbio Covid-19 Antigen Self-Test kits and 200 blessing bags.

At 10 a.m. on June 17th, 2022, the consultant, Ping-Lien, Hsia of Public Communication Office, Tzu Chi, led 8 volunteers of Taoyuan Department to CPU to donate medical resources, and they were received in person by the president of CPU, Che-Wen, Chen.

President Chen said:” Central Police University is the most important academy in training law enforcement officials. Students all live on campus, and receive discipline as well as life education. When students come back to school, due to multiple and nonspecific contacts, the risk of cluster infections is higher than any other places. I’m sincerely grateful for Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation to support police education with actual deeds once again, provide vital medical resources, and bring us bless and care to help CPU faculties and students to get through the toughest period during the pandemic.”

Lastly, President Chen presented a certificate of appreciation on behalf of CPU so as to express gratefulness to the timely rapid antigen tests and blessing bags provided by Tzu Chi, which helped safeguard CPU faculty’s physical and mental health. Hope all faculty and students can work together to fight against the virus, and citizens can get through this pandemic safely.
