CPU 2020 first semester University Assembly Came to a Satisfactory Close

CPU 2020 first semester University Assembly was held on December 18, 2020, and presided over by President Li Wen-ming. A total of 92 participants, including administrative directors, departmental chairs, corps officials, faculty and students representatives were provided opportunities to discuss ongoing and future plans for CPU. At the Assembly, each department will report the significant work of the semester, so that all faculty, staff and students can learn the current pace of CPU’s development and the future goal. It is also planned the free speech time for the participants, for who would like to share any specific suggestions on school affairs in the council.

There are four regulation amendments, including the rules of organization and faculty appeal evaluation committee at Central Police University, the rules of faculty evaluation committee of departments at Central Police University, the rules of faculty evaluation committee of colleges at Central Police University, and the rules of faculty evaluation committee at Central Police University. Two proposals are also being put forward, including the draft of the university affairs development plan of Central Police University for the 2021-2014 academic year, and the application of the Department of Criminal Investigation for the establishment of a Ph.D. program in Criminal Investigation. Faculty attending the council also suggested to continuously improve school affairs in the stage of extempore motion.

In order to enforce the epidemic prevention policy, the number of participants was reduced to meet the regulation of fewer than 100 participants for indoor assembly. Steps such as checkerboard seating to keep social distance, and to require participants to put on surgical facial masks in order to eliminate any possibility of infection.
